BSI accreditation received for another year – January 2019

Ancorra are pleased to announce its re-certification to the ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety) standards, following a successful audit from the BSI. The auditor commended the team on achieving the standards required for a fifth year running, as well as successfully transitioning to the new 2015 edition standards for ISO98001 and ISO 14001, which was verified during the visit.  

Jennie Riding, the Director responsible for overseeing the integrated Management System, commented, ‘achieving excellent customer service whilst ensuring optimal environmental, health and safety compliance and performance is at the core of our Company values. As such we are delighted to receive this recognition from the BSI as a testament that we are achieving these values throughout our business practices.’ 

The Company strives for full engagement from all personnel operating through all levels of the business and ensures continual improvement from a number of initiatives and projects. This year the plan includes further infrastructure investment to the operational base in Knowsley, the revision of some operational documents and forms and the implementation of a new Internal Audit system.
